Meet Dr. @chijiojukwu2 the Managing Director of Africa Projects Development Centre. He holds a BSc in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. Ife, Nigeria, and an MSc and PhD in Development Economics from the University of Bradford, UK. He is an experienced director with a demonstrated history of working in the development industry, skilled in policy analysis, strategic planning, international development, economics, program management, and youth empowerment.

Until recently, Dr Chiji Ojukwu served as the Director of Agriculture and Agroindustry at the AfDB, holding various positions during his 21 years' tenure, including Regional Director, of Southern Africa B, and Manager, of North, East, and South Region. He also functioned as a Task Manager for a decade, designing, preparing, and appraising projects for Board approval, along with their subsequent supervision.

Before joining the African Development Bank, Dr Chiji Ojukwu was the National Project Coordinator at the then Federal Agricultural Coordinating Unit, a World Bank-assisted Federal Government of Nigeria project overseeing donor-funded agricultural projects in Nigeria. He has extensively taught and written on project analysis and applying Cost-Benefit Analysis to Development Projects.

Since 2018, he has been a senior consultant with Agriculture & Food Security, Brazil Africa Institute, providing advisory and program development services. His unwavering dedication to empowering young people and creating opportunities for their growth and development led to the establishment of APDC Group, a youth-led organization.
