ABUJA, 28th July 2026 – The Africa Projects Development Centre (APDC) and Leventis Foundation Nigeria (LFN) have signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding to unlock youth economic potential in agriculture and agribusiness. The agreement was signed today by Dr. Chiji Ojukwu (Managing Director, APDC) and Dr. Hope Useita (Executive Director, LFN), alongside members of the management teams of both institutions at LFN's office.

The collaboration merges LFN's three decades of sustainable agriculture and rural transformation training expertise with APDC's Pan-African youth enterprise incubation model and project management capabilities. Together, the organisations will co-design donor-funded programmes, standardise agribusiness curricula, expand climate-smart agriculture access, and connect youth-led ventures to markets, policy platforms and investment.

The partnership moves beneficiaries from "trained and hoping" to “trained, trading, and scaling,” linking farms and classrooms to value chains, customers, investors, and innovation ecosystems. The outcome is clear: youth economic potential unlocked, dignified jobs created, and competitive green agribusinesses scaled across Africa.
