The Centre had the honour of hosting Dr. Lekan Tobe, Ph.D. the Country Director for Heifer International in Nigeria. Mr. Maaruf Yakub, APDC’s Director of Programmes, Partnerships, and Policy, warmly welcomed his visit, along with other key management team members.

During his visit, Dr. Tobe shared his inspiring journey and insights into Heifer International's impactful work in Nigeria over the past 31 years. He expressed admiration for the dedication shown by the APDC team toward initiatives that are transforming lives across the region.

As part of the customary protocol for such high-profile visits, Dr. Tobe was given a comprehensive tour of APDC's incubation hub facility. This included a showcase of enterprise farms, training halls, lodging facilities for beneficiaries of The Centre’s training programmes and the administrative complex.

In the wrap-up dialogue, Dr. Tobe conveyed a strong interest in exploring collaborations between Heifer International and APDC.
