Our mission is to enhance the effectiveness of development intervention in Africa by ensuring the success of our clients through nurturing creative ideas that effectively address the development, policy, programs and business problems confronting policy makers, implementers, and business owners, especially youths, in Africa. Read MoreAPDC aims to contribute towards ameliorating the existing capacity gaps through delivering tailored short-courses. The centre, supported by experienced professionals drawn from and outside Africa, delivers tailored courses in all aspects of project cycle. We offer Project Design, Financial and Economic Analysis, Financial Services, Project Management, including Procurement planning and management, and Result-Based Monitoring and Evaluation of Development Projects training courses. The courses targets participants from the private and public sectors, NGOs and multilateral organizations that are operating in Africa.
As part of our youth programmes, we have adopted a proven curriculum and system that maximizes learning and teaching. The peer-to-peer approach of experiential teaching ensures that most graduates of our programmes are able to secure self-employment and wage employment. Our hybridized training that encompasses both in-class and on-field training, extended focus on the potential of commodity value chains as business points, business and employability skills, linkage to finance and continuous mentoring, coaching and monitoring. An adept understanding of societal challenges faced by the youth helps us interphase with them more productively than average.

On the 1st of November 2021, APDC group officially inaugurated the fashionistas enterprise arm of the organisation.
