    The Africa Projects Development Centre is a youth-driven Pan-African organization with its Headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria, committed to driving positive change and making a tangible impact in our communities in Agriculture, Creative Sector, Nutrition, Renewable Energy, and Green Economy. To support our expanding operations, we are seeking a dedicated professional to manage our movement and supply chains. 

    Position Summary  

    We are seeking a proactive Logistics Officer to lead our transportation and supply chain operations. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient movement of personnel and physical assets. You will oversee fleet management, coordinate delivery schedules, and ensure that our logistics framework supports our youth incubation programmes and headquarters' operations 

    Reports to: Director of Administrative Services/Director of Programmes, Policy and Partnerships.  

    Position Type: Full-Time.   

    Location: APDC Group Headquarters - Gwagwalada, Abuja (with occasional field travel).  

    Duration: Full Time.    

    Key Responsibilities  

     

    • Develop and implement efficient routing and delivery schedules for staff and physical resources. 
    • Oversee fleet safety and facility logistics, ensuring our vehicles are maintained to high standards.  
    • Manage the safe deployment of personnel and physical assets during all field-based youth incubation programmes. 
    • Liaise with vendors, transportation and security authorities, and community leaders to ensure smooth movement across the regional landscape.  
    • Maintain accurate logistics logs, including fuel consumption, mileage, and vehicle maintenance records  

    Qualifications and Experience  

    • A National Diploma, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent. 
    • A minimum of 3–5 years of professional driving experience, preferably within a corporate or international development organization.  
    • Good knowledge of roads, routes, and traffic patterns within the city and surrounding areas. Ability to use navigation tools (e.g., Google Maps) effectively.  
    • Basic Mechanical Knowledge to identify and address minor vehicle issues proactively.
